NEB is a specialist research company carrying out aquatic environmental surveys, ecotoxicity testing and environmental risk assessment. We survey to prevent the environmental impact of development before it happens and to predict how far that impact reaches, and we test what a polluted environment does to the organisms living in it, so that we can propose improvements to regulations and standards. The understanding of the environment and its organisms gained along the way carries through into the development of bio-derived materials.
We deliver government R&D projects alongside private research commissions, and contribute to society through work that keeps the environment healthy and sustainable.
